JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Responsible for the overall relationship of the Bank with the client, generate business from existing and prospect Commercial Accounts.

Manage and monitor accounts to ensure attainment of individual business and revenue targets, maintain portfolio credit quality and cross sell the Bank Products and Services.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Marketing

  • Solicit, develop, and originate new deals and business opportunities from existing and prospective accounts and manage the loan-and-trade-related relationship of his assigned portfolio.
  • Analyze the current and prospective portfolio and prepare growth and profitability account strategies.
  • Represent the Team/Bank’s interest in various bank events, internal meetings, industry, and professional gatherings in a dignified and professional manner.

 

Administrative

  • Familiar with Bank policies, operational procedures and transaction processes.
  • Coordinate with various support units on documentation requirements to ensure the smooth implementation of approved credit proposals and the transactions emanating from it.
  • Monitor and ensure clients’ compliance with the documentary requirements.
  • Inform the Management of opportunities or threats to client relationships and recommend countermeasures.
  • Alert Management of possible deterioration of clients’ credit condition requiring a strategy/action plan and/or Remedial Management Unit transfer.
  • Ascertain proper disposition and booking of fees and commissions due to and from clients within the time-frame allowed by Bank policies and procedures.

 

Servicing

 

  • Guide and mentor Loans Assistants to improve servicing skills and initial credit and marketing efforts.
  • Attend to client’s complaints and recommends resolution of concerns/ issues by elevating to the proper person or unit to avoid dissatisfaction of clients.

 

Monitoring

  • Prepare internal reports for Management and other units of the Bank as required, including but not limited to the following:

 

 

 

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

College Graduate, preferably Business course

Sufficient and commensurate Account Management experience

Good Credit Evaluation and Analytical skills

Can formulate Account Plans and Strategies

Above-average verbal and written communication skills

Good interpersonal, time management, and negotiation skills

Computer literate

Can work well under pressure
