BDO Singapore is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to serve as a trusted strategic partner to the Chief Executive. This high‑impact role is designed for a seasoned professional who excels at strategy execution, cross‑functional coordination, and executive advisory within a regulated financial services environment.

 

About the Role

The Chief of Staff acts as a force multiplier—driving strategic priorities, strengthening governance, and ensuring disciplined follow‑through across the organization. You will work closely with senior leadership to translate strategy into action, enable effective decision‑making, and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the CEO and senior leaders to translate strategy into executable initiatives
  • Track and drive delivery of enterprisewide priorities and transformation programs
  • Prepare boardlevel and executive presentations, strategy papers, and decision briefs
  • Support Board, Management Committee, and regulatory engagements
  • Ensure leadership decisions are documented, communicated, and executed
  • Drive alignment across business, risk, compliance, finance, technology, and operations
  • Oversee management reporting, KPIs, dashboards, and performance reviews
  • Support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Partner with Risk, Compliance, and Legal on MAS interactions, audits, and issue remediation
  • Support organizational effectiveness, talent planning, and leadership communications
  • Lead confidential, highimpact projects on behalf of the CEO

 

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–15 years’ experience in banking or financial services
  • Background in Chief of Staff, strategy, consulting, or senior management roles
  • Strong understanding of regulated environments
  • Exceptional stakeholder, communication, and execution skills
