Job Summary

The Credit Officer assists the Loan Processing Head in all his/her responsibilities, including checking and approving loan applications, ensuring that all loan applications are processed and approved / decided on according to the standards, policies and guidelines of the Bank.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervises credit assistants in performing front end processing for salary loan.
  • Overseeing that proper checking, validation, documentation, filing, loan computation, reporting, and all other collections and credit processes are done properly and in a timely manner. 
  • Assists QA in training to new hires and existing staff needing refresher course
  • Initiating and maintaining quality and productivity checking measures to ensures individual performance is within set guidelines
  • Assist the Loan Processing Head in checking and improving the efficiency and effectivity of the loan process of the team, comprising of the credit assistant, billing assistant/s collections assistant, and other loan personnel that may be assigned to the team.
  • Performs other functions that may be assigned to him/her.


Qualifications:

  • College graduate, preferably with business and/or accounting background
  • With at least 3 years’ experience in unsecured loans;
  • Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Computer Literate
