The Account Assistant serves a crucial function in seeking new accounts as providing support in processing bank transactions, report generation, and sales/ account information management.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Monitors receipt and proper disposition of interest and principal payments by servicing units to avoid technical / actual past due
  • Assists Account Officer in ensuring that regular transaction details are facilitated properly, gathering data/ documents from borrowers and other support units for the establishment and renewal of credit facilities
  • Assists in updating budget and account monitoring reports
  • Coordinates with client requests for and timely submission of documentary and compliance requirements.
  • Attends to the accounts in the absence of Relationship Manager, under direct guidance of the Team Head
  • May handle simple accounts on their own as training for possible career path to Account Officer
  • Performs other functions as maybe assigned from time to time according to the established productivity and services quality

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree graduate preferably in Accounting or Business Management
  • Experience in banking operations is a plus
  • Proficient critical/ analytical skills
  • Strong communicator with the ability to network and build strong, solid relationships
  • Ability to interface effectively and independently with personalities (internally and externally)
  • High level Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Fresh graduates with good distinction are welcome to apply
