Team Leader

The Team Leader is responsible for achieving the assigned team's premium and commission budget while ensuring adherence to the approved operating expense budget and compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a strong and active pipeline of accounts, including new and existing business opportunities sourced from clients, referrals, and accounts included in the Account Distribution List maintained by the Institutional Banking Group (IBG).

• Ensure that all bank and client requirements are addressed promptly and coordinated with the appropriate team members to provide effective solutions and service delivery.

• Maintain regular communication and collaboration with IBG counterparts and other bank units to develop, align, and implement sales strategies while ensuring client servicing needs are met.

• Maximize relationships with bank partners and clients by evaluating account portfolios, identifying opportunities for new business, organic growth, and cross-selling of insurance products to meet client needs and expand the business portfolio.

• Ensure timely renewal of all insurance policies and proactively manage renewal accounts to support business retention objectives.

• Strengthen and sustain client relationships through regular communication, client visits, market updates, disaster advisories, and the delivery of exceptional customer service.

• Conduct product presentations, orientations, and training sessions for clients and bank counterparts on insurance solutions, policy coverage, claims handling, and related topics.

• Adhere to established broking procedures, company policies, and specific work instructions in handling new business transactions and policy renewals.

• Prepare and submit regular pipeline and production reports to IBG Business, Department, Unit, and Team Heads, highlighting account status, business opportunities, and team performance against established targets.

• Perform other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the immediate superior or senior management from time to time.
