Job Summary
This role is responsible for driving the growth of BDO Insure’s portfolio through the conceptualization, development, and management of specialized products tailored for strategic partners and e-commerce.
Key responsibilities:

Product Development and Innovation
○ Concept Generation: Identify market gaps and emerging consumer trends in the retail sector to conceptualize new insurance products or enhance existing ones
○ Feasibility Analysis: Conduct thorough research on product viability, competitor pricing, and market demand
○ Product Journey Design: Work with internal stakeholders (TSRU, Legal and Compliance, and other relevant bank units) and external partners to design end-to-end product journeys, ensuring they are simple, transparent, and user-friendly for the retail customer
○ Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all products comply with internal BDO policies
○ Performance Monitoring: Track, analyze, and report on the sales performance and customer feedback of the products launched, and propose enhancements based on data insights

Retail Landscape and Market Intelligence
○ Consumer Insights: Analyze customer behavior within the retail landscape to understand purchasing motivations, risk perceptions and preferred channels
○ Competitor Analysis: Regularly monitor competitor offerings, pricing strategies, and marketing campaigns to maintain a competitive edge
○ Strategic Mapping: Identify potential affinity partners (e.g., retail chains, digital platforms, membership organizations)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Deep understanding of the Filipino retail landscape to identify consumer pain points and translate them into attainable, marketable insurance solutions
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in non-life insurance product development or marketing
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- The candidate must be willing to work on-site in Ortigas
