JOB SUMMARY

The Team Head is responsible for supervising the Credit Analyst in their daily conduct of credit evaluation of the Bank’s corporate risk assets across bank products. He/She will also be responsible of ensuring that the Credit Analyst is conducting the highest standards of credit due diligence on all corporate and commercial banking accounts with credit facilities as documented via the credit proposal.

 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervises and monitors the credit evaluation of Credit Analysts to ensure that all borrowing accounts under the portfolio are appropriately reviewed, evaluated, and risk-rated in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Reviews all Credit Proposals, Executive Summaries, and Financial Analysis that will be produced by the Credit Analyst to ensure review quality.
  • Provides relevant inputs to the credit proposals to achieve risk reward balance in the corporate/commercial loans portfolio.
  • Works closely with the other team heads in anticipating any deterioration in quality of an account or group of accounts within the portfolio and ensure that the pertinent accounts are downgraded/upgraded in a timely manner.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job, such as, but not limited to finance or business-related courses.
  • At least (5) five years of actual credit evaluation/ risk management experience in a bank/financial institution.
  • At least 1-year actual lending experience with a bank/other lending institution.
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas/Binondo
