Job Mandate
The Testing Team Head is responsible for leading and managing the testing team for Online and BDO Pay, across various testing stages including System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression, Test Automation, and Performance Testing. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality testing outcomes by aligning with organizational standards, optimizing test processes, and fostering collaboration across teams. The Testing Team Head also plays a key role in developing team capabilities, driving continuous
improvement, and ensuring that testing efforts support business and technical objectives.
eDuties and Responsibilities
1. Ensure compliance with the ITG Quality Framework and TCOE-defined standards across all testing activities.
2. Oversee adherence to the SDLC and TCOE Test Processes for System Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Test Automation,
and Performance Testing.
3. Supervise and manage the testing team for Online and BDO Pay, ensuring efficient task allocation and timely delivery of testing milestones.
4. Own and manage the overall test strategy, including automation and performance testing solutions, and ensure alignment with project and organizational goals.
5. Guide the design, setup, and maintenance of test environments and automation frameworks in accordance with TCOE standards.
6. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members, supporting skill development and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
7. Monitor and assess the effectiveness of test automation and performance testing efforts, ensuring high defect detection rates and optimized execution times.
8. Resolve issues related to test frameworks, tools, and environments, and ensure smooth execution of test cycles.
9. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including developers, project managers, business stakeholders, and infrastructure teams.
10. Advocate for best practices in testing and contribute to the delivery of high-quality, reliable testing assets.
11. Maintain comprehensive documentation and provide regular status updates to stakeholders.
12. Conduct training sessions and lead initiatives to build and enhance the testing capabilities of the team.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
Work Experience
1. Led a mid-sized QA team across multiple projects, overseeing System
Integration Testing (SIT), Regression Test Automation, and Performance Testing,
ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of testing outcomes.
2. Designed and implemented test strategies and automation frameworks using
tools such as Selenium, UFT, Robot Framework, and TOSCA, aligned with
enterprise testing standards.
3. Managed performance testing initiatives using tools like Apache JMeter, amd
LoadRunner identifying bottlenecks and optimizing system responsiveness.
4. Provided technical leadership and mentorship to QA team members, driving
skill development in automation, scripting, and performance analysis while
promoting best practices across the testing lifecycle.
Knowledge Area
1. Test Automation Framework Design - Deep understanding of designing
modular, scalable, and maintainable automation frameworks aligned with
enterprise standards.
2. Automation Tools and Technologies - Expertise in a wide range of tools such as
UFT, Selenium, TOSCA, Robot Framework, Katalon, and integration with CI/CD
Job Description pipelines.
3. Quality Engineering and SDLC Alignment - Strong grasp of software
development life cycle (SDLC), testing methodologies, and quality assurance
processes, especially within TCOE frameworks.
4. Mentorship and Capability Building - Skilled in coaching and developing
automation competencies within QA teams, fostering a culture of continuous
improvement and innovation.

industry-standard tools and frameworks.
