TEAM HEAD

JOB DESCRIPTION :

A. DESIGN

1. Provide assistance to BDO Leasing Team during site selection process

2. Confirm drawings conform to existing site measurements and conditions

3. Extensive experience in conceptualizing, designing and executing large-scale corporate office projects from initial planning through completion

4. Strong understanding of space planning, workplace design trends, sustainable design practices

5. Review design layouts to ensure client requirements are satisfied , BDO design standards are followed, and all regulations set by applicable Building Codes are met.

6. Manage and oversee Architects ,Designers, Consultants for the duration of the project.

7. Has experience collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure design intent is achieved while meeting project timelines and budgets.

8. Present layouts and overall design to Senior Management for approval

9. Provide oversight on delivery of working drawings for bidding and implementation

10. Responsible for the creation, implementation and maintenance of BDO Design Standards and Specifications

11. Deliver innovative designs to meet client needs

B. CONSTRUCTION

1. Verify quality and design of completed projects adhere to BDO standards

2. Assist in the resolution of design and budget issues during the construction phase

3. Assure that working drawings conform to the latest design standards and comply with all regulations set by the Building Officials

4. Coordinate with Project Manger on critical issues during Construction phase of the project

C. MAINTENANCE

1. Assists in providing solutions to design problems that arise in existing and new offices

2. Oversee planning, design and monitors completion of Minor projects

3. Approve and endorses materials and other FFE to be used/re-used/replaced

D. OTHER FUNCTIONS

1. Manage coordination with Procurement during the Bid Process

2. Work with Procurement to provide value engineering solutions to projects

3. Ensure accuracy, completeness and timely submission of reports and other deliverables

4. Lead all team members to meet service delivery responsibilities of the team

5. Check, endorse and approve Eforms, PRFs request for payment, etc. prior to processing of documents

6. Supervise timely updating of BDO Design Standards with the latest design and specifications as received from Senior Management or as per industry practice

7. Aware of emerging technologies, design trends, sustainable practices in corporate achitecture

8. Committed to continuous learning and staying current with industry advancements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

> Education – Licensed Architect; Graduate of BS Architecture

> Work Experience – Minimum 12-15 years of experience in architectural design, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role overseeing design teams. Proven experience in leading and managing multiple architectural projects simultaneously, particularly corporate office spaces and commercial buildings.
