As the Head of API Architecture, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the architectural vision and governance frameworks for our API landscape. You will lead a team of API architects, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance with standards, and fostering innovation and excellence in API design and implementation.

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of API architects, providing guidance, support, and performance feedback.

  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team, promoting continuous improvement and professional growth.

  • Develop and maintain the overall API architecture strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company’s business goals and technology roadmap.

  • Oversee the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance APIs.

  • Collaborate with business leaders, product owners, and technology teams to understand requirements and ensure alignment with architectural goals.

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for API architecture and governance, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.

  • Allocate resources effectively across projects, ensuring optimal utilization of team members and tools.

  • Provide technical leadership and guidance on API design, integration, and implementation, ensuring alignment with best practices and emerging trends.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 10+ years of experience in API architecture, governance, or a related field, with a strong background in leading and managing teams.

  • Proven experience in a senior leadership role, managing API architects and governance teams.

  • In-depth knowledge of API design principles, RESTful APIs, and web services.

  • Must be willing to work in Makati/Ortigas
