Systems Analyst
Mandaluyong City, National Capital Region, PH
As a Systems Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and implementing API solutions that enhance our business operations. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements, document specification, and ensure seamless integration of APIs into our systems.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Conducts meetings, and interviews with the business unit or subject matter experts to understand the project objectives, scope, and requirements.
- Conducts meetings and presentations with the internal and external teams.
- Elicits relevant information about business/system problems to be solved and/or processes to be improved.
- Analyzes and evaluates business requirements, consults with personnel from various departments, and identifies areas for developing technical solutions to automate and/or improve business processes.
- Prepares business design (e.g., process flow diagrams and wireframes), business specifications (e.g., user stories, requirement specifications) and technical specifications (e.g., swagger files) to be used as a reference for the development.
- Develops and utilizes standard templates to accurately and concisely write requirements specifications.
- Collaborates with the product owner on roadmap planning and requirements prioritization to outline future product functionality and when new features will be released.
- Assists QA team in test planning and reviews test cases to ensure all requirements are addressed.
- Knowledgeable about API and microservices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job
- 3–5 years in business analysis, systems analysis, or API-related roles.
- Experience in requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and technical documentation.
- Hands-on exposure to API development lifecycle, microservices architecture, and integration projects.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working with cross-functional teams.
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas
