Sr. Compliance Officer

Role Overview:
The Compliance Officer supports the Chief and Deputy Compliance Officers in overseeing and implementing the Bank’s compliance program. This role focuses on identifying, monitoring, and managing regulatory and compliance risks to support the Bank’s strategic and operational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Compliance Risk Management
- Identify, assess, and monitor compliance risks using Regulatory Compliance Testing tools
- Recommend and help develop policies and procedures to mitigate compliance risks
- Provide oversight and guidance to assigned Business and Support Units
- Support compliance risk management for new products, services, and initiatives
Regulatory Advisory & Communication
- Coordinate compliance matters related to outsourcing, financial consumer protection, and other bank-wide regulations
- Handle regulatory matters related to Human Resources
- Communicate new and amended regulations by issuing clear summaries and key takeaways
- Send reminders on non-routine and ad hoc regulatory requirements
Regulatory Engagement
- Manage requirements before, during, and after BSP on-site and virtual examinations
- Coordinate regulatory submissions and track examination deliverables
- Respond to regulator queries and assess items for escalation
- Assist in preparing regulatory compliance reports and maintain strong relationships with regulators
Other Responsibilities
- Support preparation of materials for Board Audit Committee (BAC) meetings
- Perform ad hoc tasks as assigned by Compliance leadership
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder
- At least 10 years of regulatory compliance experience in a bank or financial institution
- Willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas
