This position supports operational efficiency and productivity of cards business through ensuring:

Timely complete and accurate interchange settlement of credit card transactions (for both issuing and acquiring, local and international), as well as the preparation of related reports. High level of performance of both the team and individual members. Compliance with Brands Interchange guidelines, procedures and standards.

  1. Settlement and Reconcillation 
    1. Ensures complete receipt of the Brand and Wallets incoming and outgoing prooflists, reject reports, currency conversion reports, advisements for both local and international transactions and subject payment associations’ statements of account from transfer agent bank.

    2. Reviews daily interchange settlement to guarantee compliance to established International Payment Association (MasterCard, Visa, Amex, JCB, UnionPay and Diners) turnaround times.

    3.  Reviews and approves settlement schedule prepared by Settlement Officers/Assistant based on the prooflists received and subsequently reconciles the brand (Visa/MasterCard, etc.) advisements and statements of account.

    4.  Reviews (and prepares) various MIS reports of the unit. 

      1) Daily billings report, issuing and acquiring

      2) Weekly revenues

      3) Prepares Variance Analysis Report

      4) Review brand reportorial requirements ( Visa Key Stat and Ops Stat, AMEX PPR, JCB Monthly Report, DCI - GlobalNet)

      5) Review CCBAR report (billings/payment/fee) for submission to Finplan

    5. Monitors unit performance and conducts regular review of units’ processes for more effective functioning

Qualifications :

Education : College Graduate, any 4-yr course

Work Experience : At least 5 years of experience in credit card operations in a credit card company or banking institution, at least 3 years in a supervisory or leadership role
