Job Summary

Responsible for the implementation and administration of security products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

A. Platform Delivery

1. Evaluate and implement security products and solutions
2. Document processes and procedures to operationalize new security products and solutions

B. Platform/Operations Management
1. Onboard applications, users, and assets to various security platforms
3. Establish IT-wide processes and procedures for new security platforms
4. Ensure various security platforms are tuned, upgraded, and maintained on a periodic basis
5. Lead and manage security plaƞorm analysts as well as third party vendors via managed services / augmentation
6. Ensure various security platforms are monitored and subjected to periodic maintenance
7. Vendor management including vendor performance evaluation
8. Coordinate annual entitlement review and periodic software/hardware maintenance of security plaƞorms
9. Monitor relevant newsgroups and vendor updates to keep up-to-date with security trends and best practices

C. Problem Management

1. Provide guidance to IT engineers to resolve/address detected system vulnerabilities
2. Resolve issues with security products and solutions
3. Perform root-cause analysis as needed, and take necessary steps to prevent recurrence

D. Process Improvement
1. Evaluate relevant software products to improve BDO's security systems
2. Regularly revisit existing tools and processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
3. Define and refine relevant processes, standards and guidelines in support of new/exisƟng security plaƞorms

E. Project Work
1. Manage and implement projects
2. Form, lead and coordinate project teams (cross-functional: Business, Technical, Operations, Legal, Procurement, etc.)
3. Manage all activities in the project lifecycle (initiation; planning; execution; monitoring and controlling; and closing)
4. Create and deliver presentation to top management on project goals and plans, including progress reports
5. Oversee sourcing, negotiating and managing vendors
6. Define and monitor all project key constraints
7. Develop and implement project communication plans
8. Maintain a harmonious relationship with all project team members, partners and stakeholders
9. Ensure compliance with IT standards, policies and guidelines, as well as other financial governing bodies (e.g. BS AMLA Council, etc.)

Qualifications:

• Graduate of Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronic and Communication Engineering, or similar
•  At least 4 years of relevant IT experience
•  Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas
