Procurement Officer
Job Summary
We are looking for an astute Procurement Officer to oversee purchasing activities and ensure that all IT-related requirements (hardware, software, and services) are cost-efficient and high-quality.
To succeed in this role, you should have strong analytical skills, stay updated on product and service trends, and possess excellent negotiation abilities while ensuring compliance with the bank’s standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare plans for the purchase of equipment, services, and supplies.
- Follow and enforce the bank's procurement policies and procedures.
- Review, compare, analyze, and approve products and services for purchase.
- Manage inventories and maintain accurate purchase and pricing records.
- Maintain and update supplier information, including qualifications, delivery times, and product ranges.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and negotiate contracts.
- Research and evaluate prospective suppliers.
- Prepare budgets, cost analyses, and reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree holder.
- At least 4 years of experience as a Procurement Officer or in a similar role (supervisory experience is an advantage).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills (ability to speak Chinese is an advantage).
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Supervisory and management experience.
- High attention to detail.
Work Location: Candidate must be willing to work onsite in Ortigas.
