Job Summary
The Processing Officer is primarily functions as a Placement and Booking Processor. The function also includes reviewing/checking of the request for placement and booking submitted by Marketing and ensuring the adherence to the prescribed guidelines and procedures on timely processing of placement and booking of the accounts and releasing of the policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviews and processes the placement and booking request from the Marketing AO following the approved guidelines and procedures.
- Secures copy of the billing, policy/contract, ID cards (as applicable) to insurers and conducts follow-ups with insurers on pending items.
- Validates billing and releases to the appropriate recipient.
- Books the account in the system and updates record as necessary.
- Releases the policy/contract and ID cards as applicable to the appropriate recipient.
- Updates the monitoring file regularly.
- Monitors unbooked accounts and ensures no late booking, no advanced booking and no booking of expired accounts based on placement and booking guidelines.
- Reports or escalates to immediate supervisor delays of insurers on billing, policy/contract and ID cards that are beyond the agreed turn-around-time and/or other concerns with insurers, on the account or within the unit.
- Conducts User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Performs other job-related duties as may assigned from time to time.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 1 year of experience in processing, operations, or administrative work.
- Relevant experience in insurance is an advantage
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
