Process Automation Manager

JOB MANDATE
The Process Automation Manager is responsible for leading automation initiatives across business units and subsidiaries by delivering the following:
- Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation to improve efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
- Develop automation strategies using tools such as RPA, Citizen Development, workflow automation, and AI technologies.
- Align solutions (process, people, and technology) with the target operating model.
- Plan and manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- Plan and manage business roll-outs.
- Monitor and track business value delivered.
- Conduct post-implementation reviews covering scope, time, budget, lessons learned, and residual risks.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Process Automation Manager shall implement automation solutions with the following deliverables:
1. Design
- Create current state process maps (e.g., SIPOC).
- Document current workflows.
- Identify and document pain points and RAID (Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies).
- Develop future state (to-be) process flows.
- Perform solution mapping and alignment (process, people, technology).
2. Build
- Prepare UAT plan.
- Manage UAT execution.
3. Roll-Out
- Develop roll-out plan.
- Prepare value tracking reports.
- Document lessons learned.
- Prepare residual risks reports (process and technical debt).
- Submit post-implementation report.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
1. Education
- Graduate of Business, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
2. Work Experience
- At least 2 years (AM–M) or 5 years (SM and above) in business analysis.
3. Knowledge Areas
- Process Analysis and Design: Functional decomposition, process modeling, gap analysis, value stream mapping, swimlane diagrams.
- Solution Alignment: Acceptance criteria, cost-benefit analysis.
- Testing: Test case/scenario creation, root cause analysis.
- UAT Management: Planning and execution.
- Project Management: SDLC, estimation, scope, schedule, cost, resources.
- Risk & Issue Management.
- Quality Management: Reviews and acceptance checks.
- Communication Management: Reporting and escalation.
- Stakeholder Management: RACI, coordination.
- Project Planning: Work breakdown structures and work plans.
- Delivery Methods: Agile and other methodologies.
- Change Management.
SKILLS
- Knowledge of automation tools (RPA, BPM, AI, Machine Learning).
- Experience with RPA tools.
- Process mapping and modeling tools (e.g., Visio, BPMN).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Research and requirements gathering.
- Presentation and communication skills.
- Business and technical writing.
- Relationship-building and networking.
PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, complex environment.
- Professional and collaborative when working with stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of PMBOK and BABOK (preferred).
- Certification in RPA, Lean Six Sigma, or equivalent (advantage).
