Job Description:

  • The Platform Engineer will work as the subject matter expert and will be responsible for all activities needed to support both operational and non-operational requirements of Face ad Fingerprint Biometrics (FFB) System. This includes, but not limited to, Inquiry Management, Incident Management, Change Management, and Project Management. 


 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive, act as a first level of support, and perform triage to classify and document any system related reported incidents

  • Prepare and secure necessary documentation and approval to progress investigation, resolution, and deployment of fix to production

  • Review and analyze business/functional requirements and provide suitable recommendation and appropriate feedback

  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solution such as but not limited to process streamlining or system enhancement

  • Other functions that may be assigned from time to time


 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related courses

  • Must have at least 3-5 years relevant IT experience in operations and application maintenance

  • Experience in SDLC or other technical processes or certifications

  • Experience in updating and managing platform environments - SIT, UAT, and Production

  • Experience in web applications and api development using java / jboss; database skills like stored procedure and sql scripting

  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
