Monitoring Officer

 

The Monitoring Officer will be responsible for the timely and accurate review of turned in collateral documents and monitors and ensures compliance of doc def, if required, to endorse the documents to LAD for registration of mortgage lien.

 

Responsibilities :

  • Maintains complete, accurate and updated list of all assigned accounts for monitoring

  • Ensures timely and accurate review of collateral documents turned in and ensures timely endorsement to LAD to facilitate annotation of mortgage lien.

  • Generates list of accounts to be sent notices (90, 30 and matured); sends out notices within schedule.

  • Regularly updates status of assigned accounts and prepares monthly production report

  • Closely coordinates with LAD Registration counterpart for the registration of turned in accounts

  • Reviews and recommends return of collateral documents which are not registrable because of documentary deficiencies or inconsistencies

  • Handles simple borrower inquiry, concerns and complaints related to the collateral; Elevates complex concerns to TL

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree graduate preferably Business course related

  • At least 2 years of experience in retail lending as documentation reviewer
