Job Summary
This position is responsible in establishing and managing the merchant acquiring business in an assigned area. He/she will develop and consistently monitor business contribution of merchant accounts.
Responsibilities

Identifies potential merchants within the assigned area and pre-qualifies applications which may require ocular inspection.

Makes an actual sales presentation and explains to potential clients the nature of VISA / Mastercard / JCB / American Express acquisition business and the services that BDO offers.

Ensures that all the documentation requirements are fulfilled before opening of account.

Manages relationships with existing merchants to maintain and grow business transactions.

Gathers information with regards to the activities of the competitors and other card companies.

Performs merchant servicing including POS / EDC terminals, supplies, reimbursement issues
Qualifications
⦁ Must be a Bachelor’s Degree holder.
⦁ At least 2 years experience in merchant acquisition of credit cards gained from a bank or credit card firm.
⦁ Must have a thorough knowledge of card center functions.
⦁ With excellent communication, interpersonal and selling skills.
⦁ Willing to work on site
