Responsibilities:
1. Lead and Strengthen the HRBP Organization
-
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing HRBP organization that delivers strategic and operational HR partnership to the business.

Build HRBP capability in business acumen, workforce analytics, organization effectiveness, leadership advisory, and change management.
-
Establish governance, service standards, operating rhythms, and accountability mechanisms across the HRBP function.
-
Drive a culture of ownership, responsiveness, collaboration, and business-centric thinking within the HRBP team.

Ensure HRBPs effectively balance strategic partnership with operational execution.
2. Enable HRBPs as “Mini Heads of HR” for the Business

Ensure HRBPs serve as the primary HR contact and trusted advisor for their assigned business groups and offshore operations.

Empower HRBPs to provide integrated people solutions covering workforce planning, organization design, succession, talent management, engagement, and employee relations.
-
Guide HRBPs in proactively identifying business risks, organizational challenges, and workforce opportunities.
-
Ensure effective coordination across Shared Services, Compliance, Legal, and business leadership teams.
3. Drive Business Results Through Talent

Partner with senior leaders to solve business challenges and improve organizational performance through people and workforce strategies.

Translate business priorities into actionable talent and organization plans that support productivity, operational resilience, customer service excellence, and business growth.

Drive workforce planning, talent reviews, succession management, and leadership pipeline development.

Support business transformation, digitization, and organizational change initiatives across local and offshore operations.

Ensure talent decisions align with BDO’s culture, governance standards, and long-term strategic priorities.
4. Build a Data-Driven HRBP Function

Champion a culture where HRBPs leverage workforce analytics and business insights to influence decision-making.

Ensure HRBPs use data to diagnose workforce trends, organizational issues, and business risks.

Drive the use of dashboards, workforce analytics, and talent metrics to support strategic recommendations.
-
Strengthen the HRBP team’s ability to convert people data into meaningful business insights and action plans.
5. Champion Employee Experience and Organizational Health
-
Ensure HRBPs remain closely connected to employee sentiment, organizational pulse, and workplace realities across local and offshore operations.
-
Promote a balanced approach that considers business priorities, employee wellbeing, engagement, and operational sustainability.
-
Guide HRBPs to address employee concerns with empathy, sound judgment, and business pragmatism — beyond policy interpretation alone.
-
Act as a trusted advisor during organizational restructuring, leadership transitions, and sensitive workforce matters.
6. Strengthen Leadership Partnership Across Local and Offshore Operations

Build strong strategic partnerships with senior leaders across BDO’s Philippine and offshore businesses.

Serve as a trusted advisor on organization effectiveness, leadership capability, workforce risks, and talent decisions.

Coach leaders in building high-performing, customer-centric, and engaged teams.
-
Help leaders create environments where employees can thrive and contribute meaningfully to business success.
Qualifications:

Minimum of 12–15 years of progressive HR experience, including senior HR Business Partner leadership experience

Experience within banking, financial services, or large complex organizations preferred
-
Proven track record in leading HR teams and partnering with senior executives
-
Strong expertise in organization effectiveness, workforce planning, talent management, and employee relations
-
Strong analytical and business acumen with ability to interpret workforce data and business implications
-
Excellent stakeholder management, consulting, influencing, and leadership coaching skills
