Job Summary:

The Portfolio Management Head is responsible for meeting the objectives of the Portfolio Management Department. These include outperformance of the relative benchmarks, management of portfolio management risks and regulatory requirements, providing support to the frontliners and providing supervision and adequate training to the portfolio management team.

Key Responsibilities:

Return on Investment Objectives

• Outperformance of discretionary accounts relative to set benchmarks.
• Monitors and reviews the performance of all discretionary portfolios.

Technical and Investment Support

• Helps improve product knowledge of Relationship Managers (RMs) / Trust Advisors (TAs) / Clients through 
  internal or external briefings.
• Provides support to RMs / TAs by serving as a resource person for client meetings/briefings to discuss 
  investments, strategies or new service/product offerings.
• Keeps the team abreast of market trends and provides guidance to the Portfolio Managers in making 
  recommendations to the Investment Committee

Management of Portfolio Risks and Regulatory Requirements

• Supervises all Portfolio Managers to ensure compliance of portfolios to regulations, operational processes and internal policies as approved by the Investment and/or Trust Committees.
• Supervises all Portfolio Managers to ensure compliance of portfolios to client-approved IPS and/or Investment Guidelines, strictly observing investment restrictions / limitations in order to achieve client’s investment objectives.

Leadership Skills

• Improves Overseas and manages the Portfolio Management Department
• Provides an environment of professional growth.
• Provides training to the PMD team members.
• Carries out duties / special projects that may be assigned by Management from time to time. 

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree holder

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in investments across different asset classes, markets and currencies

• Management of portfolios in different asset classes, markets and currencies
