The position is primarily responsible for liaising between the Consumer Banking Group Business and Support Units, the IT Group units and technology vendors. He/she is also responsible for execution of strategic plans (tactical), alignment with management leaders, ensuring projects are delivered on the agreed time and budget.

Duties and Responsibilities:Project Management:Collaborate, negotiate and align formally with project stakeholders on project strategies, priorities and timeline.Plan on how to execute the project strategies on given resources/approved budgeted timeline. Get approval, continuously track project budget.Check, review, approve all project-related BA documents. Comply with BDO SDLC process and BDO ways of working as applicable.

Business Analysis:Collaborate with business units/systems peers on systems requirements.Accountable for deliverables, assigned tasks/projects, commitments, workloads, priorities, and outputs of own team. Check, review, approve team's functional Business Requirement and other IT SDLC documents. Contribute functional requirements as part of RFP/RFQ for new vendor selection.Contribute, review, approve Business Case, Legal Contract, and other legal documents whenever applicable.

User Acceptance Testing & Go Live Support:Check, review, approve UAT Plan.Assist and review critical defects with business users. Escalate and follow through for resolution of system defects. Ensure critical defects are resolved and get business go-live signoff acceptance.Check, review, approve acceptance signoff and forward to IT to implement changes in production.

Production Implementation and Support:Accountable for the team's compliance with payment Brand's mandated changes and regulatory compliance requirements.Walkthrough with Systems Production Support unit on systems parameters/new/enhancements/fixes progress and timeline.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of Bachelor's degree, preferably engineering, computer science, information technology or closely related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in systems implementation projects in financial institutions, preferably credit or debit card payment functions.
  • At least 10 years of experience in web, mobile, and/or payment channels applications.
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
