JOB SUMMARY
The HR Officer is responsible in facilitating a smooth and positive transition for new employees to the Bank. He/She will ensure that new employees meet the Bank's standards in documentation and regulatory requirements. He/She will also assist in preparation of management reports related to onboarding.
 
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Documentation: Discuss and collect pre-employment requirements and schedule candidate for physical and medical exams; Verity submitted regulatory onboarding documents (e.g.. Birth certificate, Transcript of Records, Certiticate of Clearance)
2. Verification: Conducting backgrounds checks, credit checking and validating credentials and legal requirements of new hires.
3.Collaborating with stakeholders: Working with other HR units, business units to ensure all candidates meet organizational goals and standards
4. Data Recording: Completes the new hire information in the Human Resources Information System. Ensures that data is accurately recorded.
5. Reporting: Preparation of reports for management and as requested.
6. Compliance: Ensuring all onboarding prọcesses are align with Bank's policies, procedures and to relevant laws and regulations; Ensures completion of mandatory forms, documentation, and background checks.
7. ldentitying risks: Spotting potential red flags that could impact the hiring decision, such as inconsistencies in information or documentation.
 
 
QUALIFICATION
 
  • Graduate of any Bachelor's Degree relevant to the job
  • With at least 1year experience in recruitment, preterable gained from a bank or other financial institution
  • Experience in end to end recruitment process
  • Has good interpersonal skills, keen to details, can work under pressure
