HRBPs are strategic navigators for both the business and employees helping leaders solve business challenges through talent, data, workforce insight, and organizational effectiveness. The role provides advisory and operational support across organization design, staffing, performance management, employee relations, culture, and talent development to help drive business performance and employee engagement within BDO. 

HRBPs are expected to:  
•    Operate as “Mini Heads of HR” for their business
•    Drive business outcomes through people and organizational solutions
•    Speak the language of business and data
•    Stay deeply connected to employee realities and organizational pulse
•    Navigate leaders and employees through growth, transformation, and complexity with empathy, pragmatism, and sound judgment. 

 

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic HR Business Partnering and Workforce Planning

 

· Partner with business leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into practical people plans and HR interventions.

· Provide strategic and operational HR support to ensure HR initiatives are effectively implemented and sustained.

· Support workforce planning, organization design, and staffing decisions aligned with business strategy.

· Monitor HR trends, risks, and employee concerns, and recommend practical solutions to management.

 

2. Talent Acquisition and Development

 

· Collaborate with Recruitment to ensure timely and quality hiring of talent.

· Partner with Learning and Development or HR Training teams to identify capability gaps and support relevant development programs.

 

3. Performance Management and Rewards

 

· Support the implementation of performance management, rewards, and employee development programs.

 

4. Employee Relations and HR Governance

 

· Act as a first point of contact for employee relations matters and guide managers on appropriate case handling and policy application.

· Ensure HR practices are aligned with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and labor standards. 

 

5. Change Management and Organizational Effectiveness

 

· Drive or support change management and communication initiatives that strengthen team culture and organizational effectiveness. 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
  • Minimum of eight (8) years of progressive HR experience, with substantial exposure in HR business partnering, HR generalist leadership, or a similar strategic HR role supporting senior business leaders
  • Strong background across key HR disciplines, including organization development, talent management, learning and development, employee relations, workforce planning, and change management
  • Experience in banking, financial services, or other highly regulated industries is strongly preferred
