Fraud MIS & Analytics Officer
Mandaluyong City, National Capital Region, PH
He/she will perform risk assessment and strategy development & analysis for Credit/Debit Card Issuing, Online Banking and Merchant Acquiring portfolios. He/she will also be responsible for providing internal clients relevant reports that are essential in making fraud risk/ business decisions.
Duties and responsibilities:
Analytics
- Data Analysis- Provide analysis on performance metrics to effectively achieve desired key metrics according to the set fraud strategies and analyze current fraud trends regularly and recommend rule settings along with the rule logic.
- Parameter Setting & Management - Provide operational impact of rule setting to internal clients, monitor deployment of rules and monitor rules performance to ensure that capacity of detection teams is efficiently utilized.
- Collaboration & Coordination - Interact with the internal clients to gain firsthand knowledge on the actual results of fraud strategies implemented and develop ways to improve them based on their input.
MIS
- Data Management- Maintain well-defined MIS reports that would monitor fraud performance and coordinate with internal clients in developing new or modified reports that would assist them in their business decisions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting - Deliver required MIS reports and analytics to internal clients and prepare external fraud performance reports of fraud risk.
- Collaboration & Coordination - Interact with the internal clients to gain firsthand knowledge on the actual MIS being created and constantly improve them based on what is relevant to the business unit being supported.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of any bachelor course (preferably Statistics or Computer Studies)
- At least 3 years of experience in fraud/risk area or MIS experience.
- Preferably knowledgeable in the area of fraud.
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
