Job Summary

The primary role of the Enterprise Architect is to develop and govern architecture roadmaps for a business domain’s application landscape. He/she will work closely with Enterprise Architect Lead to provide business and technology support for its assigned architecture and business domains.

Key responsibilities:

1. Strategy Planning 
✓ Support in the definition and implementation of technology roadmap in respective domains.

2. EA Governance 
✓ Active development, maintenance and sharing of EA catalogues, guardrails and artefacts for respective domain. 
✓ Ensure architecture compliance of all solutions to EA guardrails and standards for respective domain.
✓ Operationalise the Enterprise Architecture Forum and Board ensuring all the architecture decisions and discussions are properly documented.

3. Business and Technology Support
✓ Support in identifying required technical capabilities for new business requirements and demands.
✓ Evangelize new technology, evaluate new products, tools & innovative approaches.
✓ Provide technical expertise to solution architects, platform/application owners during software/services definition and build.
✓ Assist in aligning business and enterprise initiatives with the enterprise architecture.

4. Competency Development
✓ Support in defining & executing training plan for solution architects and community of architects (e.g. architecture methodology, domain knowledge, etc.).
✓ Actively build competency by gaining domain knowledge.

5. Perform other related functions, tasks or assignments that may be assigned as special projects or individual development plan.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related discipline
• At least 10 years’ experience in IT software/services definition, build, and management
• Experience as Technical Lead in major technology implementation
• Exposure to investment & wealth management business and technical domains
