Job Summary

The position is primarily responsible for developing and managing new and existing online merchants classified under the Social Marketplace & Communities or Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) channel.

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an Online Merchant Partnership Officer in relation to its set KPIs

  • Provide support to the Online Merchant Partnership Head on initiatives to develop and grow the channel.

  • Prepare and conduct sales presentation to key decision makers (KDMs) and key opinion leaders (KOLs) of the solutions we provide through BDO Pay Ecom

  • Prepare and process all necessary paperwork i.e. agreements, contracts and other documentary requirements that need to be complied with for the opening of the account

  • Coordinate and liaise with other units within BDO to help address merchant concerns

  • Cross sell other relevant bank products to the merchant e.g. other products under the BDO Checkout portfolio.

 

Qualifications

  • Must be a Bachelor’s degree holder.

  • At least 5 years experience in business development, sales management, key account management preferably in financial services, fintech firm, FMCG, advertising or telecommunications.

  • Willing to work on site and be assigned in Ortigas.
