Job Description:

  • The DevOps Engineer will responsible for the development of necessary code and configuration for the assigned IT platform. He/She will also develop unit test cases and execute testing for applications developed and perform basic troubleshooting in the event of failure, to log defect appropriately. 


 

 

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop detailed design for modules that need to be developed and align with the requirements and architecture

  • Develops application code according to the agreed functional design, technical design, methodologies and standards

  • Develops configuration/scripts according to the agreed functional design, technical design, methodologies and standards for package deployment

  • Prepares package, configuration files, deployment scripts and installation guide for all environments

  • Conducts unit test for new software/application

  • Other functions that may be assigned from time to time


 

 

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or any related courses

  • At least 3 years of experience in IT development, programming and testing 

  • Familiar with programming languages like Java, Javascript, Springboot, ReactJS, Unix Scripting, and SQL

  • Full stack developer, expert on developing and supporting Microservice Applications

  • Conversant with programming/development tools like Development platforms/IDE, Configuration management, Code review etc.

  • Worked with Agile and Waterfall delivery methods

  • AWS or JAVA certification is an advantage but not required

  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
