The Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery and implementation of API services and products. This role ensures that API solutions are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. The Delivery Manager acts as a bridge between product, engineering, and business stakeholders to drive successful outcomes and continuous improvement in API delivery practices. 

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

Delivery Management

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of API-related projects and initiatives.
  • Define delivery roadmaps, milestones, and success metrics in collaboration with product and engineering teams.
  • Monitor progress and resolve delivery issues to ensure timely and quality outcomes. 

 

Technical Delivery Governance

  • Oversee the execution of API services, ensuring alignment with architectural standards, security policies, and performance benchmarks.
  • Coordinate integration efforts with client systems and third-party platforms.
  • Ensure technical quality and compliance throughout the delivery lifecycle.

 

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding API delivery.
  • Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and business units.
  • Manage expectations and ensure alignment across all parties. 

 

Risk and Issue Management

  • Proactively identify risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Maintain documentation and reporting for delivery status, risks, and dependencies. 

 

Qualfications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in IT project or delivery management. 
  • At least 3 years of experience managing API-related projects or products. 
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, API gateways, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP). 
  • Familiarity with API lifecycle management tools (e.g., Postman, Swagger, Apigee) 
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas.
