Demand Analyst

The Demand Manager is responsible for overseeing the intake, evaluation, prioritization, and management of API-related demands across the enterprise. This role ensures that API development and integration efforts are aligned with business priorities, capacity, and strategic goals. The Demand Manager acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams, ensuring the right APIs are built, reused, and delivered efficiently. 

Duties and responsibilities:

• Manage the demand intake process for new API requests, enhancements, and integrations.
• Evaluate and prioritize API demands based on business value, feasibility, and strategic alignment.
• Collaborate with business units, product managers, and architects to capture requirements.
• Promote API reusability to reduce duplication and speed up delivery.
• Work with capacity planners and delivery managers to align demand with available resources.
• Maintain a demand backlog and provide transparency to stakeholders.
• Establish and track KPIs such as demand lead time, fulfillment rate, and reuse ratio.
• Facilitate governance reviews to ensure demands comply with API standards and security guidelines.
• Act as the point of contact between business and technology teams for API-related initiatives.
• Contribute to API strategy and roadmap by identifying recurring demands and market trends.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job 
• At least 3 years of experience doing API/IT/Product management 
• Strong understanding of API Lifecycle management, API gateways, and Integration platforms.
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas
