Job Summary

 

Will work as a subject matter expert and will be responsible for all activities needed to support both operational and non-operational requirements of Face and Fingerprint Biometrics (FFB) System. This includes Platform Management and Development, Inquiry Management, Incident Management, Change Management, and Project Management.
 
 
Key Responsibilities:
 
PLATFORM DEVELOPMENT
  • Serve as a subject matter expert answering any inquiries related to the FFB System.
  • Receive business requirements and catalog them in requirements traceability document and eventually convert them to product backlog.
  • Follow the bank’s SDLC process in system analysis, design, development, testing, deployment and operationalization.
  • Work with vendor during technical assessment and guide the vendor to follow the bank’s SDLC process.
  • Develop scripts, dashboards and modules for the platform.
 
 
INQUIRY / INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
  • Serve as a subject matter expert answering any inquiries related to the FFB System.
  • Receive, act as a first level of support, and perform triage to classify and document any system related reported incidents.
  • Assess impact of reported incidents and report any major/critical items to management.
  • Ensure clear understanding of the issue and work with necessary/relevant units and resources until incident closure, escalate if necessary.
  • Prepare and secure necessary documentation and approval to progress investigation, resolution, and deployment of fix to production.
  • Evaluate and test, if applicable, recommended solutions before promoting to production.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management such as but not limited to daily status report, incidents encountered, and any critical issues that require stakeholder’s attention.
 
CHANGE / PROJECT MANAGEMENT
  • Review and analyze business/functional requirements and provide suitable recommendation and appropriate feedback.
  • Assess impact of business requirements to existing system or the new system that will be developed.
  • Document requirements and translate them into appropriate system requirement/technical specifications.
  • Develop and communicate activity work plan and schedule, test plans and strategies to the project team and ensure the plan is adaptive to new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules.
  • Provide suitable solutions to issues/errors that may arise based on the understanding of the business and system requirements.
  • Prepare and secure necessary documentation and approval needed to proceed with project deployment in all environments.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management such as but not limited to daily status report, incidents encountered, and any critical issues that require stakeholder’s attention.
 
OTHER FUNCTIONS
  • Identify areas for improvement and recommend solution such as but not limited to process streamlining or system enhancement.
  • Handle and assist in system audits, process validation and system testing, and performance and utilization monitoring.
  • Facilitate training to any business units inquiring on how the FFB system functions and operates.
  • To perform other duties and functions that may be required from time to time.

 

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Graduate of any IT course, Computer Science, or similar 4-year computer related course
  • Must have at least 3-5 years relevant IT experience in operations and application maintenance.
  • Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati/Ortigas
