Job Summary

The Credit Officer is responsible for the credit evaluation and credit decision for all consumer product (Home Loans and Multipurpose Loan) applications received and processed (both retail and corporate). Ensures accuracy of data in the system prior to credit decision, and in accordance with established credit policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluates application based on available data, deduped results and verified information.

• Renders appropriate credit decisions and performs system confirmation if within credit delegated authority.

• Recommends credit decision and forwards application to the appropriate approver for system confirmation for applications not within the credit delegated authority.

• Updates / checks the accuracy of data encoded in the system prior to confirmation of decided applications.

• Prepares and submits an accurate Daily Productivity Reports on a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

• At least 2 years of experience in retail credit review (covering the area of application processing and evaluation) gained from bank or other financial institutions.

• Willing to work onsite in  Ortigas.
