Consultant

As a Section Head, you will be responsible for strategy planning, governance, business and technology support, and competency development, for architecture and business domains. 

This role will have a Senior Officer rank in the bank. 

Role Responsibilities: 

• Define technology road map in respective domains & support the implementation process. 

• Support in the definition and update of Enterprise Architecture (EA) catalogs, guardrails and artifacts for respective domain.  

• Ensure architecture compliance of all solutions to EA guardrails and standards for respective domain. 

• Provide architecture decision and guidance for non-compliant solutions. 

• Identify required technical capabilities for new business requirements and demands. 

• Provide technical expertise to solution architects, platform/application owners during software/services definition and build.

• Leadership Qualities: Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and mentor medium sized teams and drive cross functional collaboration between development teams, business, and the rest of IT teams 

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to diverse audiences and build consensus 

• Strategic Thinking: Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and decision-making skills to develop and execute long-term strategies aligned with business needs 

• Possesses a strong work ethic, passion, analytical mindset, basic project management skills in planning, risk, and issue management, and accountability in people development 

• Expertise on technologies, trends, concepts, and best practices of respective architecture and business domain 

Qualifications: 

• At least 15 years’ experience in IT software/services definition, build, and management 

• Three to five years’ experience in Enterprise Architecture practice, including EA governance, strategy planning, business and technology support, and competency development 

• Expertise on technologies, trends, concepts, and best practices of respective architecture and business domain 

• Banking or financial industry experience is a plus 

• Candidate should be willing to work in Makati or Ortigas
