Job Mandate

 

The Compliance Checking Officer / Processor is primarily responsible for the processing of loan / lease documents and collateral releases in accordance with approved terms and conditions, standard operating procedures, Bank / BDOFC policies and guidelines and within the set service levels agreed with various business units such as, but not limited to, Institutional Banking Group (IBG), BDO Leasing and Finance Corporation (BDOFC) and Remedial Management.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

 

Processes documentation relative to the approved facilities per Credit Proposal (CP) / Loan Approval Sheet or Credit Evaluation Sheet


1.1  Reviews approved conditions in the CP / Loan Approval Sheet or Credit Evaluation Sheet, as applicable
1.2  Prepares documents and checklist of requirements, certifications, letter to government agencies, clients, other banks / financial institutions, developers, sellers and the SM Group of Companies
1.3  Computes applicable fees / taxes / transfer of ownership and registration expenses. Check completeness of Customer Information File (CIF) data on International Comprehensive Banking System (ICBS) as applicable. Scans and Indexes documents of new accounts in Document Management Imaging System (DMIS/Mobius) in accordance with the chart of documents, as applicable. Processes requests for collateral releases of partially / fully paid accounts or upon request via an approved Credit Proposal, as applicable:
4.1 Secures Clearances / outstanding balances from various concern units
4.2 Prepares Collateral Release Advice (CRA), Deed of Sale and Release of Mortgage (ROM)
4.3 Coordinates with Custodianship Officers  / Processors on the pull-out of original documents for fully paid account for Document Archive Management System (DAMS) purposes
