Job Summary
- Manage collection of premium receivables for assigned accounts, including generating reports, securing payments within approved credit terms, and obtaining valid payment commitments.
- Identify and escalate potential or actual collection issues (e.g., past due accounts, BIR 2307 concerns) to appropriate stakeholders, including the Collection Team Leader and Marketing Team Head.
- Review and recommend actions on past due accounts, such as credit term extensions, and ensure proper evaluation and documentation of unapplied payments and reinstatements.
- Coordinate with internal teams and clients on payment processing requirements, documentation, official receipts, and logistics for collections (e.g., check pick-ups and direct payments).
- Ensure proper handling of account adjustments, cancellations, and approvals, while maintaining accurate and timely system tagging and compliance with regulatory and audit requirements.
- Prepare and submit regular reports and updates on receivables, support collateral and clearance requests, and participate in ongoing training and development programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- At least 2 years of experience in collections, accounting or finance role preferrably within the insurance industry
- Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas
