Job Summary:

The Claims Officer is primarily responsible in assisting clients in processing and settlement of insurance claims. Ensures efficient claims processing through equitable settlement of claims filed at the soonest possible time based on insurance policy coverage and conditions. Provides assistance to Team Lead in developing strategies for the implementation of processes and procedures in relation to claims processing and client servicing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages end-to-end claims processing by updating systems, encoding new claims, maintaining records, and ensuring proper documentation and monitoring of all claims.
• Reviews and evaluates claims by checking forms, documents, insurance policies, settlement offers and determining validity or reasons for approval/denial.
• Coordinates and communicates with stakeholders including clients, insurers, adjusters, and internal teams regarding claim status, issues, inspections, and inquiries.
• Ensures compliance and proper handling by following claims procedures, maintaining accurate logs, and handling settlement processes (e.g., checks, deposits, documentation).
• Supports improvement and additional tasks by recommending process enhancements, participating in training, preparing reports, and performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of any 4-year degree course.
• At least 3 years of experience in an Insurance Company or insurance related firm. Preferably have handled non-motor insurance claims.
• Must be willing to work onsite and be assigned in Ortigas
