The Branch Banking Operations Support Officer enables BDO's branches to have a guided and smooth handling of business operations to help the branch achieve their goals.

 

They provide branches ways and means in the areas of business process documentation, system procedures as well as logistical and operational requirements. Additionally, they serve as the branch's conduit to various units in the head office and subsidiaries.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify and document business needs, develop appropriate guidelines to address business and regulatory needs, perform pre-implementation review of other units' issuance to the branches, and collaborate with other business units whenever needed
  • Provide helpdesk support to branches for various systems, policies, and procedures
  • Lead/assist in special projects, coordinate requirements with other units, monitors projects, provides timely updates/reports, and ensure smooth implementation of projects
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing to ensure that all related testing requirements are in place and perform post-implementation review of launched projects
  • Request and evaluate Training materials developed by HR Training for branches
  • Promote rationalization of forms used in branches and handle changes to comply with regulatory requirements
  • Initiate process improvements and seek approval to implement their recommendations

 

Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's Degree Holder
  • Has at least 3 (three) years' experience in administration in a bank or other financial institutions (preferably in branch operations in an officer-level capacity)
  • Problem-solving and analytical decision-making skills
  • Can develop strong networks/partnerships
  • Flexible and adaptable
