BDO Checkout SME Officer

Job Summary:

Develops and manages new and existing online merchants classified under the Social Marketplace & Communities or Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) channel.

Ensures productivity of such merchants and deliver agreed KPIs by employing key account management directions and strategies; provide support to the BDO Checkout SME Manager on initiatives to develop and grow the channel.

Provides support to the Online Merchant Partnership Head on initiatives to develop and grow the Online Merchants & Partnerships business.
Responsibilities:

Establish strategic business relationship with new and existing target merchants to grow business volumes and reach profitability objectives (based on agreed KPIs)

Prepares and conducts sales presentations to potential Checkout SME merchants of the solutions we provide through BDO Checkout

Helps facilitate and process all necessary documentary requirements for the opening and onboarding of the Checkout merchant

Be able to orient, answer and respond to questions and inquiries from the merchant, and/or mobilize BDO Checkout teams to help address the merchant’s concerns

Gathers information on competitive activities, promotions, and innovations

Performs merchant servicing, handling of reports, coordinating with BDO Checkout Service Provider and other similar activities

Identifies potential on-line Checkout SME merchants and channels
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's Degree with preference for Business Course

At least 2 years banking experience and or other online business with payments

Must be willing to be assigned and work onsite in Ortigas
