Audit Officer

The position is primary responsible for providing assistance in the planning, execution, and completion of IT audit engagements in BDO Unibank and its subsidiaries. Such engagements maybe in the form of per-implementation, post-implementation, technical, or IT process audits.

The responsibilities we will trust you with are:

• Assist the Audit Team Leader or Section Head in the planning, execution, and completion of IT audit engagements, in accordance with the Internal Audit Group methodology.

• Assists the Audit Team Leader or Section Head in the periodic monitoring of outstanding audit findings and recommendations, to ensure their timely and effective resolution

• Develops and maintains good working relationship with internal audit clients within the Bank.

• Handles other work-related tasks that may be assigned by the Audit Team Leader of Section Head, from time to time

Your qualifications and Your Experiences should be:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Internal Auditing, Computer Science, or other related degrees

• Preferably with a CPA, CISA, CIA, or other professional certifications, but not required

• At least 2 years relevant work experience, preferably gained from a financial services company or a ‘Big 4’ auditing firm

• With foundational knowledge of globally-recognized internal auditing standards (IPPF), information technology standards (COBIT, ITIL), information security standards (ISO/IEC 27001), and other related standards.

Candidate must be willing to work on site and be assigned either in Makati or Ortigas.
