Job Summary
The Accounting Assistant is Responsible for the accurate encoding, processing, reconciliation and monitoring of various client accounts related to Accounts Receivable (AR), Miscellaneous Liabilities (ML) and Registrations via in-house application systems as well as preparation of various internal and external reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Processes and balances SL entries versus GL or Proof sheet
- Booking/ Responding of Registration related accounts
- Coordinates and monitors with concerned units all issues pertaining to client accounts
- Validates daily batch sheets received from loan processors as to date, accuracy of balances per debit and credit, and signatories
- Handles encoding of entries of assigned batches for LPC and ensures that it is correctly posted in General Ledger (GL) Subsystem of ICBS
- Prepares Loan listings versus SOC balances
- Preparation of various internal and external reports and ensure timely submission to Immediate Officers for review. If necessary, advise with the status pertinent to the report compliance
- Performs regular reviews of client’s data and discuss with Immediate Officers for referral to concerned units and regular reviews of data on bank borrowings and refer to concerned units for clean-up
- Performs other related functions that may be assigned from time to time
Qualifications
- Graduate of BS Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Management Accounting, Financial Management and Accounting; experience not required
- Must possess good communications skills, computer literate and can work with minimum supervision
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas
