BASIC FUNCTION:

Responsible for ensuring that day-to-day operations are coordinated with efficiency and accuracy based on the requirements of the proposed Insured

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Major Functions – 80%

1. Entertains calls, requests for quotations, renewal proposals, endorsements and policies, and
other inquiries from clients, insurance companies, BDO branches and other units.
2. Ensures proposals, renewal advices and renewal list are forwarded to branch/client on time.
3. Coordinates and negotiates best rates terms and conditions based on the insurance
requirements of the proposed insured
4. Cross-sells and up-sells other insurance products to increase production.
5. Conducts/attends meetings with insurance companies to get updates and resolve issues or
concerns ( if any).
6. Identifies areas for work improvements within the unit.
7. Closely coordinates within the various units in the organization.
8. Assists in resolving claims concerns.
9. Conducts call-out activity on all renewal accounts in their assigned areas.
10. Attends area meetings and establishes good working relationship with BDO branches,
Insurers and various units in the organization to ensure work efficiency and effectiveness.
11. Closely monitor renewal accounts to achieve required persistency.
12. Ascertains timely request and adequate insurance cover for all accounts.
13. Handles request for dispositions on the account receivables, unapplied payments and
refund report.

1. Ensures continuous capability development by participating in both in-house and external

training.

College graduate of any 4-year business course
Preferably with at least 2 year work experience on risk, insurance operations or marketing.
With good and pleasing personality
With good analytical and communication skills
Willing to work long hours and can handle pressure and tight work deadlines
Must be a team player and highly motivated
