RESPONSIBILITIES:

Execution of Trade Orders

• 1. Identifies and sources acceptable investments and trading opportunities across different markets, asset classes, and currencies to meet directional clients’ investment objectives.
• 2. Executes trades independent of related-subsidiary products / services
• 3. Trades consistently within the practice of Best Execution
• 4. Liaises with brokers, market makers, underwriters, asset managers and other financial institutions to gather and validate market information
• 5. Analyzes and synthesizes publicly available information for internal and external client use.

Initiatives to Help Achieve WATG AUM / Revenue Targets

• Provides high touch execution across various markets through the use of updated trading platforms
• Works closely with underwriters / capital markets / treasury / asset managers / structurers to participate in new issues / products
• Recommends investments for accreditation / approval by Investcom / Trustcom
• Provides regular risk / credit updates on securities held
• Provides 3rd party research on select investments when requested by internal clients

Management of Trade and Execution Risks

• Complies with regulations, internal policies, and operational processes
• Focuses on accuracy and timeliness of trade execution
• Identifies, mitigates, and escalates potential trading losses or risks
• Resolves trading concerns or issues in a timely manner

Technical and Investment Support

• Improves product knowledge of internal clients by providing advisory / research or by arranging
  product briefings / seminars

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: University graduate

Work experience: Minimum 2 years

Technical skills: Preferably with Treasury-related skills (not required but nice-to-have: i.e. fundamental and technical analysis, nostro management)

Personal attributes: Highly analytical, decisive, inquisitive, organized, can work under pressure, with sense of urgency

Certifications: TCP and SEC
