Senior Product Manager

SR. PRODUCT MANAGER :
Responsible for providing insights through the following correlations:
· Client behavior (Collection and payment transaction volume, CASA ADB, Revenue, Profitability) relative to CMS services
availed or total bank relationship for effective solutioning or solution bundling, managing liquidity.
· Identify range of product/service offerings applicable for identified Ecosystems (supply chain, industries, etc)
· Monitor industry or client changes (company diversification) using public information and relate with possible solution
offerings relevant to the client.
2. Correlate internal CMS data with external supplemental data (i.e. bank data, industry statistics, transaction turnover, liquidity
/ cash in bank) for the purpose of:
· Identifying opportunities - new CMS or bank clients, up-sell existing CMS clients, cross-sell other products
· Rationalizing current product offerings
· Review of current TBG business rules to streamline and optimize productivity across segments
3. Provide support to TBG Supply Chain Unit for strategic decision-making and identify opportunities to champion change in
order to future proof business objectives.
4. He/She must be cognizant to the growth of Key Accounts in order to provide ancillary solutions that will deepen engagement
with BDO.
5. Key deliverables include:
· Market/ Economic studies for: lead generation, engagement strengthening (cross sell / up-sell), operational efficiency
and revenue optimization (dashboards)
· Product evaluation study (ex. P&L, Repricing initiatives, availment take up)
· Create usage dashboards or reports on client availed services highlighting transaction volume, CASA ADB, revenue
generation, and key statistics on identified metrics.
· New system model studies that include evaluation and feasibility of Fintech partnerships for CMS analytics platform,
billing, service integration, etc.
· TBG and CMS financial performance monitoring
· Unit management
Duties and Responsibilities
Data Analytics:
1. Deliver Cash Management insights to multiple stakeholders in reporting, and present valuable reports and analysis.
2. Define methods for new data collection and correlation of CMS, BDO proprietary, and Non-BDO owned data
3. Educate stakeholders on analytical methodology and the types of data used in order to provide the rationale of the data behind
the insight.
4. Work with other BDO teams (IT, DISG, TBG) to flesh out integration points - mapping and documenting interfaces between
legacy and new systems especially with regard to data movement.
5. Evaluate third party partnership value on identified objectives of the unit.
6. Conduct data-requirements analysis and prepare proposals for modified or replacement systems.
7. Keep up to date with industry developments for Cash Management.
Data Management:
1. Build a unified data reporting and analytics platform.
2. Oversee database performance improvements, and the consolidation of data into analytics platform
3. Design local and physical databases supportive of analytics.
4. Develop ETL processes.
5. Develop report templates and tables using available applications that may be useful to business requirements of business unit served.
6. Organize and identify Business Unit challenges, pain points and map against the proposed recommendation in the analysis.
7. Work with Testing Team to determine best test approach and test data requirements for new systems and integration points for any data /analytic platform for TBG. Financial Performance:
- TBG High-level reports - prepare, consolidate, and analyze TBG reports for management use. · Board report with per group, revenue type, business unit, actual vs. budget; Actual vs. previous year and month · NVT or TSC Business Review financials · CMS, Remittance, and Transfer Agency summary reports · Internal partners (IBG, Corporate Planning, Comptrollership, Compliance)
- Ensure all revenue and expense items are properly booked to correct cost centers and incorporated in the P&L report.
- Support the group and business units in the preparation of yearly revenue budget.
- Prepare CMS financial performance reports (Segment – Team – BDM budget performance, Client revenue and profitability, product revenues, volume, and profitability)
- Closely monitor deals (from prospecting to live) for specific key clients, solution packages, or segments
- Prepare ad hoc reports for CMS Head and Management Team. Unit Management: 1. Establish timelines/report deadlines for the Section and supervise daily activities of all officers. 2. Ensure that all deliverables are correct and on time. 3. Conduct periodic performance appraisal of subordinates and coach them as the need arises. 4. Provide reports or status updates to CMS-Product Management. - Cash and check services and BIA Head.
- 5. Act as representative for any BIA related clarification, request, or concern.
- 6. Ensure that all personnel develop their skills, sufficiently trained on systems/applications used, and knowledgeable of the business.
- 7. Maintain high moral and standards in the section. 8. Perform other functions that may be assigned from time to time.
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Education · Graduate of any BS Commerce, AB/BS Economics or MIS or computer related course · With MBA or Doctorate degree an advantage
Work Experience · 3-5 years working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst. · 3-5 years technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques. · At least 1 year Scripting and Statistical Languages like Python, Matlab, and SAS. · Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets (Excel, Access, SPSS, SAS etc) · Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy · An advanced understanding of the analytical and campaign management tools · Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings · Experience in data mining with strong reporting and data visualization skills · Understanding of machine-learning and operations research · Knowledge of R, SQL and Python; familiarity with Scala, Java or C++ is an asset · Experience using business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) and data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop)
