Responsibilities:

 

  • Supervises a cluster of teams of Credit Analysts to ensure that all borrowing accounts under the portfolio are appropriately reviewed, evaluated and risk-rated in a prompt and timely manner.
  • Reviews Credit Proposals, Executive Summaries, Financial Analysis of new accounts, line, loan increases, and term loanexposures that has been reviewed by the Team head.
  • Provides relevant inputs to credit proposals to achieve risk reward balance in the corporate loans portfolio.
  • Coordinates with IBG Section Heads in anticipating any deterioration in the quality of an account or group of accounts within the portfolio in the light of business and market developments and ensure that the pertinent accounts are downgraded or upgraded in a timely manner.
  • When warranted, oversees a Rapid Portfolio Review to ascertain the adverse impact of an economic, political, or regulatory issue on the quality of the loan portfolio.
  • Consolidates and reviews reports/ memos submitted by the Team Heads to ensure that Credit Evaluation Head is updated on all major credit issues relative to the corporate borrowing portfolio.
  • Adheres to the Bank’s credit and risk policies and guidelines and contribute to RM’s goal of promoting a strong credit and risk culture across groups and units within the Bank.
  • Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

 

Qualifications:

 

  • At least seven (7) years of actual credit, risk management experience in a bank, financial institution of which at least three (3) years have been devoted to handling a team of analyst
