Job Mandate

• Ensure high quality and timely delivery of all projects of the unit and oversee upkeep of the applications and platforms owned by the unit

• Develop a full understanding of how the team/section works and orchestrate applicable processes across other teams/sections as needed

• Manage all escalations and resolutions

Duties and Responsibilities

Accountability to ITG:

• Share the delegated responsibility of the head, and own full accountability for delivery in the assigned team/section

• Work closely with other units/counterparties across ITG to ensure seamless delivery

• Enforce adherence to IT SDLC and Governance structure Accountability to PIP/Business:

• Ensure that there is a good understanding of the business unit’s strategic direction

• Ensure alignment of strategies with BDO architecture

• Ensure that the right people are assigned to each project in order to ensure proper support, validation of scope, requirements development, and delivery ownership

• Manage all escalation from business unit and PIP team Accountability to Unit:

• Take full accountability of the quality of application delivery rendered by the team/section

• Plan for and manage the team/section’s capacity, and ensure appropriate and sufficient staffing of the team/section

• Ensure adequate competency in delivery managers and other team members

• Identify and optimize how resources can be leveraged across delivery teams

• Ensure timely escalation of issues

• Provide oversight of all vendors and solution providers engaged by the team/section and their assigned resources

•Act as point of escalation for all delivery team leads and team members.

• Ensure implementation of the proper support required for resolution of issues and risk management

• Ensure adequate and appropriate level of support by defining competencies, providing training, and providing team/section

members with adequate experience and exposure

• Conduct performance reviews for delivery manager and other team/section members

Minimum Qualification Requirements

Education Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

 

Work Experience

• 15 or more years of application delivery experience in the financial services industry

• 10 or more years of experience in managing complex projects involving the

implementation of digital or online-transaction solutions

• Experienced in handling vendor and third-party SI engagements

• Experience working on back-end applications in a Contact Center environment, such as

automatic call distribution, interactive voice response, interaction logger, workforce

management system, and other contact center applications that run integrate with 3rd

party applications

Knowledge Area • Good understanding about Contact Center Technologies such as Avaya ACD, Verint

Loggers, Aspect WFM, Conversational AI, Speech Analytics

• Knowledgeable in banking facilities: credit card, loans, treasury, trust and online and

branch banking insurance facilities (life and non-life)

• Knowledgeable in API, SOAP UI and Postman

• Knowledgeable in web service development (WSDL and RESTful)

• Knowledgeable with legacy, AS400 or other mid-range systems

• Good understanding of de-/encryption tools, flow charting

• Good understanding of Windows AD and Azure AD

Skills

• Leadership skills in managing and mentoring, and capacity planning for medium-to#largescale teams

• Proven ability to apply end-to end project management and application delivery

methodologies and to integrate business strategies and trends in technology to deliver

value
