The SG Onboarding Officer under BDO Private Bank handles the processing of day to day client and account creation/maintenance activities.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client/Account Creation

  • Reviews completeness of account opening documents received from Private Banking Front Office (SG and PB RM) and/or Branch Banking Group (BBG) .
  • Ensures approvals are in place from approving authorities for opening of account with incomplete documents/deficiencies.
  • Approves notification/confirmation to clients on successful account opening. Preparation and Review of Thank You Letters.
  • Builds up client/account level information in SG Systems of Record (Avaloq)

 

Client/Account Maintenance

  • Reviews completeness of account maintenance documents received from Private Banking Front Office (SG and PB RM)
  • Processing of client/account level maintenance information in SG Systems of Records (Avaloq)

 

Others

  • Monitors/Sends out reminders to Private Banking FO on document deficiencies
  • Reviews and sends out original documents to SG for transmittal
  • Monitor compliance to policies/guidelines/directives.
  • Perform other duties that may be assigned by Management.
  • Respond and trouble shoot issues related to client and account creation and maintenance
  • Preparation and report generation related to client/account creation and maintenance
  • Trigger requirement for document review to FO and monitor its status

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelors degree holder
  • at least 3 years of experience in Wealth, Banking, or any Financial Institutions
