The position is primarily responsible for the following:

  • Implement compliance PFRS/IFRS and internal control policies to maintain integrity of financial data.
  • Review and analyze Financial Managements for submission to Regulatory bodies.
  • Prepare or review all regulatory reports especially Annual Statements.
  • Prepare or review BDO Life Financial Reports related to Investment accounts and Regulatory reports.
  • Ensure the maintenance of complete records of (a) all background files, recommendations, Investment Committe approvals, Board Resolutions and Statutory Approvals for BLACI investments and (b) agreement, contracts, approvals and Board Resolutions pertinent to BLACI banks/counterparty arrangements and monitor implementation/compliance thereto.

                                                                 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting; preferably CPA
  • With at least 4 years of experience in General Accounting operation and at least 2 years in supervisory capacity. Preferably with experience in insurance industry
  • Knowledge in Life Asia, SUN system and other accounting system.
  • Has the ability to multi-task, embrace change and work comfortably in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, and matrix environment.
  • With good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willing to work onsite and be assigned in Makati.
