Network Monitoring Analyst
Job Summary:
The Network Monitoring Analyst is responsible for first-level fault detection, diagnosis, and resolution of network-related issues across leased lines and infrastructure components. This role ensures compliance with Service Level Standards (SLS) and contributes to the overall performance and reliability of the IT network systems.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Monitor, isolate, resolve, and document network-related incidents in a timely manner

Coordinate and escalate network issues to service providers and internal support units

Notify and update users and concerned groups regarding outages and major incidents

Review monitoring checklists for accuracy and completeness

Recommend and document solutions for recurring problems or outages

Assess bandwidth utilization and provide recommendations for affected sites

Update and close incident and request tickets using ticketing tools (Request Tracker and BESH)

Work with users to formulate and document business requirements

Collaborate with support teams to meet network infrastructure efficiency, capacity, security, and availability requirements

Resolve complex incidents and requests using experience and problem-solving skills

Prepare and submit reports to business units, monitoring leads, unit heads, and ITIO head

Perform other related duties as assigned by the DCS Network Monitoring leads and the DCS head
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fields

At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred

Strong knowledge in data communications and networking

Skills in Power BI automation and process improvement are an advantage

Positive approach to problem-solving

Strong customer service orientation

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)

Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks

Analytical, systematic, and able to work independently under pressure
