Job Summary



The Legal Associate is responsible for assisting the Team Head and the handling lawyers in their daily tasks pertinent to office support, more particularly, the service of copies of pleadings to opposing parties and the filing of the same before the Courts, the Office of the City Prosecutor / Ombudsman, the BSP, the AMLC, the NPC, among others, via personal service registered mail / courier, and/or email in line with the Banks standards and requirements.



Key Responsibilities



  • Assisting the Team Head and the handling lawyers in their daily tasks pertinent to office support

  • Acting as back-up when the assigned staff is absent/unavailable

  • Inquiring on the status of cases, and doing follow-ups / liaising, with the courts, government agencies, or quasi-judicial bodies

  • Performing other administrative related functions as may be assigned by the lawyers from time to time

  • Ensure compliance with Banks policies, procedures and regulatory requirements



Qualifications



  • Bachelor’s degree relevant to the job

  • Analytical, hardworking, people and service-oriented, has the ability to work under pressure and a team player 

  • Willing to work onsite in Makati
